Our new rocking chair for the baby room.

It started as a good deal on Craigslist.

My mom sewed the seat cushion and pillow.

She also sewed these cute valances to hang over the windows.

Gingerbread House

This year, our gingerbread house is an Alaskan fishing cabin.Notice the snowmobile and the fisherman on the left.

This gentleman is navigating the rapids on a raft.

Here we have a festive holiday wreath, and a fish being smoked over an open fire.

This year Kristen and I decided to drive around Pullman and find the house with the best Christmas decorations. We spent a few hours driving all around the city’s neighborhood, sipping hot chocolate and critiquing the different displays. It was all very official… we printed up a certificate and everything!
